Ten years after the first experiments of the LAB, in which the connection between artisan excellence and technological research gave life to the first domotic kitchen in travertine, corten steel and precious wood essences, the female duo of architects Bernhardt & Vella interpret the first-born with great formal elegance TM Italia icon: Petra. The domotic kinematics are transformed into refined formal and compositional dynamism, combined with refined material combinations and extreme attention to detail. The doors of the columns are characterized by grooved handles, arranged alternately in vertical or horizontal that create a modular design, a tribute to the sartorial uniqueness of TM Italia's best creations. Materials and shapes create a play of refined surfaces and signs: the metal bronze frame around each module in Ceppo di Grè or in Materico bruno, give life to an abstract canvas more than to the surface of a kitchen furniture. The composition of stone columns is interrupted by a central operational opening, in which the Nero Marquinia stone (combined with the Brown Materico bruno for the doors) rises from the floor to the whole area with open shelves in Materico bruno brown backlit and punctuated by spacers in ancient bronze. The island has a top in Nero Marquinia stone, with a banquet from the original asymmetrical cut supported by antique bronze metal elements.
