Our starting point for developing the Arflex stand was "La Rotonda", a remarkable architectural work designed by architect Cini Boeri, in which she experimented with unusual and sinuous architectural forms inspired by shells, almost wrapped around themselves.

Like La Rotonda, the stand expresses a similar tension toward the simplification of volumes, gaining strength through the use of primary geometric forms on its different façades, monolithic-inspired shapes, and exposed concrete walls.

The structure unfolds around a circular patio, the fixed focal point of the project, reinforcing its character as a representative space of the home. The circular form is both protective and centrifugal at the same time: a core from which the various rooms unfold and extend outward.

The clay-grey flooring contrasts with the warm-toned plaster of the structure. Color, materials, and textile details play a leading role and become an integral part of every Arflex project, where new collaborations alternate with historic icons.​​
